About School

We welcome you to SANSKAR TIRTH

We have pleasure to inform you that we have been managing the SANSKAR TIRTH, an educational institution for the teen-age girls for the sixty years. Building an educational institution for the growing children, especially for the girls, is indeed a challenging task. This requires involvement, patience, perseverance and also creative and innovative ideas and ideologies.

We believe that a true educational institution should nuture as much the ancient traditional wisdom and moral values as the modern intellectual, rational and scientific skills. India needs this at the present stage of globalization. This requires co-ordination between the institution-builders, teachers, students, parents and the society at large.

Such a cluster of values and beliefs led the late Shri Babubhai Shah, a public-spirited Gandhian educationist, to set up the SANSKAR TIRTH in the secure village of Ajol, in the Mansa Taluka of the Gandhinagar district in Gujarat. Inspired by the vision of Mahatma Gandhi, Rabindranath Tagore and Maharshi Aurobindo, our Motto is Satyam, Shivam, Sundaram. The people of village Ajol generously donated land for the public cause. This resulted in the setting up of this institution with the Primary Teachers Training College, with some fifty girls in 1964. Since this site was popularly known as the holy land of Boria Mahadev, Shri Babubhai’s efforts won popular support.

In 1967, we also started a girls' school. In the course of sixty years (1964-2026), the institution has blossomed into a famous educational complex with girls from the remotest corners of Gujarat. This institution is the result of team spirit and co-operation between the management, teachers, students, parents, philanthropists, social workers, and the common people.

The high achievement of our girls is demonstrated by the fact that we have been able to fulfil our target of 100% results for our girls who appear for 10th to 12th standard examinations.
